Q: Who can I send an InstaVoice message to?
A: You can send an InstaVoice message to anyone. If they are also an InstaVoice user they can listen to the message for free using the InstaVoice application on their phone. If not, they will get a Voice SMS notification (charged by the carrier at normal messaging rates) that a message is available and they can listen to it, as well as reply back to you.
Q: Can I reply to voice messages?
A: Of course! You can reply to any voice message you receive, including voicemail, directly from your InstaVoice phone application.
Q: What are all those symbols when I swipe a message?

Q: How do I change the recording time limit when I record a message?
A: Go to Settings to change the recording limits to 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes.
Q: How do I compose a message before sending?
A: Compose your message using the 'Notes' page. You record your message normally, listen, and can re-record if desired. Once you are satisfied, swipe the message (right to left), to send or share your message with your friends.
Q: I liked a message and now I want to share it with many friends. How can I do that?
A: You can swipe the message, and select "send via InstaVoice"; you will get a list of friends on InstaVoice with whom you can share this message.
Q: What is voicemail?
A: When someone calls you and you don’t answer, voicemail gives the caller the option to leave a voice message for you.
Q: How much does Voicemail cost?
A: Voicemail is completely free for users of the app. Normal calling rates may apply for callers using regular phone lines.
Q: How much does voicemail and voice messages cost for me to listen?
Nothing! Using the InstaVoice application, you can listen to messages as many times as you want – for free.
Q: How do I turn on voicemail - it sounds great?
Most carriers enable this as an automatic feature. If you don't see voicemail available within the InstaVoice app, it's because some carriers restrict you from turning on this feature. You may have to call them to request the service.
Q: What is a missed call notification in InstaVoice?
A: If your carrier has allowed missed call notifications when your phone is busy or when you don't answer your call, you will get a missed call notification within the InstaVoice app.
Q: Why am I unable to send more messages to my friend who isn't on InstaVoice?
A: For fair usage, there may be a limit set to the number of messages you can send to a non InstaVoice user. When that non InstaVoice user sends you a reply, the limit resets and you can send further messages.
Q: How can I share a message on my Facebook wall so that all my Facebook friends see it?
A: You need to first connect the InstaVoice App to Facebook. Go to Settings in the app and connect to Facebook. Once you are connected, swipe a message and share on Facebook.
Q: How can I send a voice message to my Facebook friend?
A: You need to first connect the InstaVoice app to Facebook. Go to Settings in the app and connect to Facebook. Once you are connected, go to Friends > Facebook tab, and select your friend to send them a voice message.
Q: How can I share a message on Twitter?
A: You need to first connect the InstaVoice app to Twitter. Go to Settings in the app and connect to Twitter. Once you are connected, swipe a message and share on Twitter.
Q: What is this Phonebook?
A: Phonebook lists all your contacts, so that you can easily send voice messages to any of your friends. It also lets you know which of your contacts are on InstaVoice.
Q: I said 'No' the first time the app asked me to upload my address book to server. How can I do it now?
A: You can go to Settings in the app, and then upload your address book to server.
Q: What is a 'Vobolo'?
A: Vobolo is a Kirusa social media environment that allows you to follow voice blogs from your favorite celebrities, as well as post your own voice blogs for multiple followers.
Q: How do I enable Vobolo?
A: Go to Settings view in the app and enable Vobolo.
Q: How do I post a Vobolo?
A: You can post a Vobolo directly from the InstaVoice app. Just go to Menu in the app, choose Vobolo, and record your message. When you finish recording, the message will be posted automatically.
Q: Oops! I didn't mean to post that Vobolo. What do I do?
A: You can remove a Vobolo by going to the Vobolo website (Vobolo.com), logging in with your InstaVoice credentials (same as Vobolo) and using the website's delete function.
Q: I did not receive any validation code via SMS?
A: Wait for 30 minutes, and then request validation code again. If you still didn’t receive the SMS validation code, please send us an email to support@instavoice.com
Q: I'm unable to receive notifications about a new message?
A: Check if your Google account on your device is set up properly. Try visiting Google Play Store from your phone. If it all works fine, log out from InstaVoice and then log in again.
Q: I don't want my location to be shared with every message I send. What do I do?
A: Go to Settings in the app and disable sending location.
